What's new:

  • Streamlined Ribbon: Removed the connection debuggers from the ribbon and combined the Fluent and Fluent Tools tabs into a single, cohesive tab for a more streamlined experience.
  • Fresh Icons: Ribbon icons for Fluent have been updated for a modern look and feel, aligning with our new UI design.
  • Improved Welcome Experience: "Welcome to Fluent" dialogue no longer automatically closes when you click a link, allowing for a smoother onboarding process.
  • Docker Image Setup: We've built a feature that allows variables to be copied when setting up a Docker image from a container, simplifying your setup process.
  • Enhanced Tags Dropdown: The tags dropdown has been reworked for better usability.
  • New Tags and Functionality: Added new Tags types in order to improve user experience by allowing users select the tag with the name that matches their use case
    • BeginRepeat/EndRepeat Tag - These tags can be used to repeat arbitrary document content. This covers the “legacy” mode of ForEach tag to repeat any document content
    • BeginRowExpand/EndRowExpand Tag - These tags can be used to expand rows of a table for each item in a list of data. This covers the “row” mode of ForEach tag for adding one or more rows to a table after each iteration of the tag
    • BeginColumnExpand/EndColumnExpand Tag - These tags cab be used to expand column of a table for each item in a list of data. This covers the “column” mode of ForEach tag to add one or more columns to a table for each iteration of the tag.
  • White-Label Customization: The "Open Help Ticket" and Help buttons can now be white-labeled, and the "What's New" dialogue box will no longer appear for white-labeled customers.
  • PDF/UA Tooltip Update: The tooltip for PDF/UA output has been updated to specify PDF/UA-1 in the description.

Bug Fixes:

  • Fixed an issue where numbered lists were not processed properly if part of the list was in a nested foreach loop.
  • Improved support of CSS in TEMPLATE tags.
  • Corrected bullet list appearance in Microsoft Word format to match the PDF format.
  • Resolved intermittent issues with Data Bin preview displaying the top 20 items.
  • Addressed discrepancies between Java and .NET engines in the Windward PDF builder.
  • Fixed margin and row height problems in nested tables.
  • Corrected Table of Contents issues in DOCX format.
  • Fixed an error when using PDFTron output builder with JDK 21.
  • Ensured bullet lists display correctly after a previous fix.
  • Resolved an issue where two checkboxes appeared in the Address field.
  • Addressed the increase in PDF file size in version 24.0.
  • Fixed formatting loss in imported Word DOCX documents.
  • Corrected issues with DocX table mirroring.
  • Ensured cell contents are right justified in PDF format.
  • Fixed the issue where importing an Excel spreadsheet created a new blank tab.
  • Resolved a circular reference issue in Fluent Excel formulas.
  • Addressed additional page break issues in PDF output with Windward 24.1.
  • Fixed an output to printer issue.
  • Resolved errors with the DATA() function after a server upgrade from version 22 to 24.
  • Ensured cell contents are right justified in PDF format when wrapping lines.
  • Fixed a PDF output exception.
  • Resolved an issue with using a prefix with an empty namespace.
  • Fixed a bug report for PDF_UA using code based on RunReportJSON in C#.
  • Ensured the trial license installation does not install Solo as well.
  • Corrected the addition of PDF/UA hyperlinks within lists to the PDF structure.
  • Fixed the usage of the White Box Help field in the white label.
  • Resolved an error thrown by the "Batch Output Scheduler" button in Fluent Solo.
  • Fixed a license machine error when running templates in Excel with an empty demo license.
